Official Trailer for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

"Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

A Peek at Film Sets of XMEN: APOCALYPSE

Tip toeing through ruined #Cairo #1983 #xmen #apocalypse

Director Bryan Singer has been happily instagramming (IG @bryanjaysinger) from the set of XMEN: APOCALYPSE with the latest featuring the film sets themselves (sorry, this post is not about th actors or stars :p) from the streets of Cairo (Yay STORM!), to the tomb of Apocalypse … and we even get to see a pic of the film's Production Designer Grant Major ("The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, 2005 "King Kong", 2011 "Green Lantern"), and that's all good by me!

Cosplayer vs Singer's Apocalypse

That awkward moment when cosplayers do a better Apocalypse than a major Hollywood production. http://nerdbastards.com/2015/07/16/first-official-look-at-x-men-apocalypse-psylocke-apocalypse-magneto/

Hot on the heels of Apocalypse's reveal, comes this comparison between director Bryan Singer's chosen suit for "En Sabah Nur" AKA "Apocalypse" (played by actor "Oscar Isaac"), and a cosplayer's suit with design derived from the comicbooks… You Decide…

Villains & Mutant Heroes Revealed for "X-Men: Apocalypse"

Stills of X-Men: Apocalypse revealed in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, showcasing/revealed Apocalypse himself ("Oscar Isaac"), with 3 of his Four Horsemen featured as well: STORM ("Alexandra Shipp"), PSYLOCKE ("Olivia Munn"), and MAGNETO ("Michael Fassbender") - all of whom looked like cosplayers with the garish colors! But then again, the movie IS themed in the 1980s … LOL

(Missing is "ANGEL" - the mutant with wings and power of flight).

Also seen in these images are "Mystique / Jennifer Lawrence", "Beast / Nicholas Hoult", "Quicksilver / Evan Peters", and non-bald "Professor X / James McAvoy".

Also featured on Entertainment Weekly were new faces to the mutants, familiar to the comicbooks and were recently seen in the SDCC trailer:

NIGHTCRAWLER (Kodi Smit-McPhee)

JUBILEE (Lana Condor)

CYCLOPS (Tye Sheridan)

The above poster of X-MEN APOCALYPSE was revealed at San Diego Comic Con, which also saw a panel featuring principals of the feature film and cast, including Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Bryan Singer (Director - his role, not his cast name in X-Men ~ heh) aaaaaand "Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Lana Confor, Kody Smit-McPhee, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Olivia Munn, Ben Hardy, Alexandra Shipp and writer-producer Simon Kinberg." (MTV.com said)

And oh yes, a sizzle reel was shown. Personaly having attached XMEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST on a bad murky bootleg-trip turned me off the entire movie, so I'd rather happily wait for the official trailer to be released online, fhanks.

*innocent-smile*

Here is what other folks had to say about the X-Men Apocalypse footage they saw tho:

Olivia Munn is Pyslocke in X-Men: Apocalypse and she is handy with a katana

Learned some new tricks...

A video posted by Olivia Munn (@oliviamunn) on

Olivia Munn will be "Betsy Braddock" AKA Psylocke (tweeted "X-Men: Apocalypse" director Bryan Singer), and she shows off her katana wielding skills in the IG Video above. I can get with that …

Source: Superhero Hype

WHO-IS: "Psylocke (Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Herb Trimpe in 1976, she first appeared in the Marvel UK series Captain Britain.

Betsy was initially a supporting character in the adventures of her twin brother, Captain Britain, even briefly substituting for him in the role, before becoming the mutant superheroine and X-Men member Psylocke in 1986. Originally presented as a precognitive in the pages of Captain Britain and then as a telepath, the character eventually had her mind placed in the body of a Japanese female ninja known as Kwannon, gaining many of Kwannon's martial arts skills and elements of her personality. Later, Psylocke acquired the power of telekinesis.

Many alternative versions of Psylocke have also appeared in several comics series of Marvel Multiverse, as well as in various other media and merchandise, notably in numerous video games. She briefly appeared in the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand, where she was played by Meiling Melançon. Olivia Munn will portray her in the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse."

... and since director Bryan Singer previously IG'd a pic with the caption "Caliban's place of "business"", no doubt we might be seeing an incarnation of the "Morlocks", and hence a white-mohakwed Storm makes perfect sense, and I don;t really care what the script reads LOL ... now we need a throw down with "Calisto" and I can cross one X-MEN WISH-TO-SEE off my list! MUAHAHAHAHAAAAA
